Nano Cosmetic Tattoo
Nano is a semi-permanent way to tattoo your eyebrows using a machine to create natural, realistic, hair-like strokes. It gives you a softer, more natural and better lasting look than microblading.
-
Nano is a type of cosmetic tattoo that is created with a single needle in a machine. We use this machine to implant pigment in very fine strokes. These strokes mimic the look of natural brow hair. Nano cosmetic tattoo is recommended instead of micro blading as it's less traumatic on the skin, meaning your risk of colour change, scarring and pigment migration reduces significantly.
We offer an extensive consultation to create the clients perfect set of brows. We focus on creating the most natural results that are specific to you to ensure the most undetectable transformation.
After the consultation, we map the brows using very specific measurements to ensure balance and symmetry. Client feedback is asked for during the whole process to ensure we are creating a set of brows you are happy to look at everyday.
During the tattoo process, we will go over the same area a number of times to build up the pigment in the skin, insuring it will last through the healing process.

How to take care of your new brows
Day 1: Gently rinse your brows with water and dab dry with a tissue or cotton round. Then apply a light layer of balm with a clean finger across both brow, against the direction of your hair. Do this before bed on the day of your tattoo appointment.
Day 2 - 14: Apply the supplied balm 4 times a day with a clean finger for until its finished (it should last 7-14 days). Apply it with a clean finger in a light gloss over your brow so that your skin can still breathe.
DO NOT use Vaseline, Bepanthen or any other products in the performed area! If you lose your balm, please contact Zoe for a replacement, as other creams and ointments can cause brows to heal differently.
-
Excessive Sweating, Swimming and Direct Sunlight for 7 days.
Saunas and steam rooms for 7 to 10 days.
Any products through your brows for 2-3 weeks (foundation, cleansers, exfoliants, moisturisers, sunscreens, serums, makeup). Brow powders can be used after 2 weeks.
-
Day 1 to 3: Any redness or irritation will subside after 24 hours. You will notice the colour of the pigment will intensify for the first 7 days. This is because the pigment sitting on the surface, and your skin has not healed yet. Just a reminder, the first 7 days will not be the true colour of your new brows as they have not completely healed yet.
Day 4 to 7: Your brows may feel itchy as the skin heals. Your pigment will start to lighten and soften from now.
Day 7 to 10: Expect a slight amount of flakiness as they heal. DO NOT scratch, pick or rub them, as this can cause the removal of your pigment. You must let any dryness or flakiness fall off on its own to ensure proper healing and pigment retention.
Week 2 to 3: Flakiness will reduce, and colour will lighten; it may even disappear. The colour has absorbed under the skin layer and will resurface in the following weeks as the skin cells repair.
Week 4 to 6: Colour will resurface, showing its true pigment. Brows may appear patchy or slightly uneven in some areas. In rare cases, the pigment may not retain well.
Week 6 to 8: Your brows will be fully healed and will be ready for your initial touch up at 6 weeks at the earliest. The initial touch up will implant the pigment further into your skin to ensure colour retention. During this visit, we will make any corrections necessary.
Your new brow tattoo's retention and longevity can last 12 months or more on average until you will need a touch-up. This is depending on skin type, client lifestyle and care of brows. Exfoliation and sun exposure are the main factors that cause colour fading. Wearing an SPF50 daily (from 3 weeks post treatment) will help ensure your colour is protected from the sun.
Each client will respond to cosmetic tattoo differently in regards to healing time and required touch-ups. Most clients will need one touch up, while others may need a second to achieve their desired result and colour retention. BUT, some clients may hold pigment so well they wont need a 6-8 week touch up or need an annual touch up for years possibly! Everyone’s skin hold pigment so differently and we wont know where you sit on that scale until after your initial treatment.
Any extra sessions needed will come at an additional charge.
